The only comment I would like to make on this topic is this:

   One can NOT argue a theological point from the semantics of one word.

The question really is:  What is Paul saying in I Tim. 3:14 through to the 
end of the book and how does "savior of the world" relate to that?  That 
will likely require a different understanding of SWTHR--in this 
context--as has been already suggested.  In any case, it requires an 
understanding of the entire section (the boundaries of which I might not 
have drawn correctly).

Theological points are BIG; they require a commensurate amount of semantic 
real estate to support them.
