deliver

Does anyone know any usage in any Greek literature of the verb SWZEIN [or
possibly a compound thereof] where the direct object is a woman and the
sense is that someone 'delivers' the woman of her child?

It appears to be used that way in the Syriac of Ode 19 in the Odes of
Solomon where it would seem that God 'delivers' Mary. Hence the question.
Even in English, does the midwife deliver the woman or the child?

Thanks in anticipation!
