True enough -- but the subject line of the original posting is "Rev. 1:4 ",
and in the ABD [ in the article on "Christology (N.T) ] Dunn writes:
 >>In Revelation the seven spirits of God (= the Holy Spirit) are depicted
as the
the eyes of the Lamb (Rev 5:6).
Freedman, David Noel, ed., The Anchor Bible Dictionary, (New York:
Doubleday) 1997, 1992.

The original poster might like to look at three other articles in ABD:
Angels (N.T)
Holy Spirit
Patriarchs, Testaments of the Twelve ( where he will note a reference to
"reflecting Stoic conceptions" )

After all, a _little_ homework won't come amiss <g>

Regards
Maurice
