The following notice appeared on severa lists on Feb 21, and since it has
not yet appeared on B-GREEK, I thought it might be of interest to _some_ on
this list.
>>>>>>>>>>
The Canonical Criticism Discussion List is intended as a forum for the
academic
discussion of the "canonical shape" of documents that comprise the Old and New
Testaments. It is intended to be an opportunity for interested people to post
observations and questions regarding the entire spectrum of meaning,
implications behind, consequences of, and theology associated with the
canonical form of scripture. By "canonical form" of scripture is meant the
evolved or extant versions of NT and OT texts sensu Brevard S. Childs, and
assumes that the documents comprising scripture arrived at their canonical
form
under divine guidance.
Academic and non-academic questions will be allowed. Everyone may
participate:
Scholars, clergy, interested by-standers, Christians and non-Christians alike.
Inappropriate posts, personal confessions, abrasive comments, and spam of any
sort will not be tolerated. Those who don't understand this limitation will
soon find themselves removed from the list.
