Titus 1:7 -- Polysyndeton?

Greetings,

MH AUQADH, MH ORGILON, MH PAROINON, MH PLHKTHN, MH AISCROKERDH.

Is the 5-fold repetion of MH an example of polysyndeton (see BDF #460.3) or is it grammatically required? What follows in 1:8 is surely an example of asyndeton (BDF #460.2). It seems as if the author is deliberately using contrasting devices to strengthen the contrast between the two lists, the vices and the virtues.

Thanks
