The Greek of the book of Revelation is similar to Hebrew, particularly OT
apocalyptic literature, Ezekiel and parts of Daniel. Even Hebrew idioms
are not translated, but they are more transliterated from Hebrew into
Greek. Whether or not this is common to a Greek-speaking, Palestinian
Jew, I am not sure.
