I would agree that the second half of Thomas' statement hO KURIOS MOU KAI hO QEOS MOU could be an acknowledgement of
God the Father.
Besides the reasons already stated by Dan Parker, there is one other (frequently overlooked) indicator. Although not
100 percent consistent throughout the NT, when Jesus is referred to by QEOS, the definite article is usually missing.
If John wanted to indicate Thomas was referring to Christ as QEOS here it would have been clearer if he had left out
the article.
