Could you explain how MONON does not modify EK PISTEWS but
the implied verb DIKAOUNTAI?

Even if we understand the verse to be as follows:

KAI OU DIKAIOUNTAI EK PISTEWS MONON,

I do not see how it would mean the same as follows:

KAI OU MONON DIKAIOUNTAI EK PISTEWS.
