Regarding this question I think it might be helpful to review the thread in
our archives from January of 2000, specifically Jan 14-15, 2000,
subject-headers: "SHMERON in Luke 23:43" and "SHMERON in Luke 23:43 (a long
palinode)." The "palinode" was my own recantation of my one-time insistence
that SHMERON should be understood with the second clause and endorsement of
the view that it does indeed belong with AMHN SOI LEGW. I'm not going to
repeat the arguments but they are available there in the archives.
