EILIKRINHS - sincerus?

I do not think there is a connection between the Greek EILIKRINHS and the 
Latin sincerus except that they mean essentially the same thing.  The roots 
of the two words are not the same.  Mr McGee use the Latin to illustrate the 
point he was making, that with a sincrer person you get what you are 
expecting, no surprises.  EILIKRINHS looks to mean "judged by the sun".  As 
sunlight exposes the true nature of an object, we too are be such that we 
need not hide in shaddows.
