REPLY OFF-FORUM, PLEASE.
Can anyone help me? Does anyone have one of these? If not: does anyone
have a copy of Books in Print from 1991, 1992, and 1993?
About ten years ago, I received a mailer--I don't remember what publisher
it was from--that listed some editions of the thinline NIVs that they
were selling. One of the editions they showed in the mailer was called
(as I remember) a "Note Taker's Bible". It was a thinline NIV with a
third flap that held a 5" by 8" notepad--a trifold (C-fold) thinline NIV
with a snap closure(?), pen loop, etc.
The only one I ever saw in a store was a left-handed edition (i.e., when
opened, the pad was on the left side of the open Bible) and I--of
course--was not left handed.
Does anyone on the list have one of these? I'm certain it's out of
print. I've checked with Zondervan, IBS, ABS, etc. And I've looked on
the normal websites for used books, but either don't find anything or
(without an ISBN) got so many results that I may as well have not found
anything. For example: one night I spent two hours going through every
NIV that a certain book reselling website had in its computers. And
found nothing.
Anyway: any suggestions? Oh, and are there other Bible-related mailing
lists that I might foist my pitiful query on?
