That is like exchanging a enigma for a conundrum. Translation equivalents
are not the issue. They solve nothing. EN MORFHi QEOU is a difficult
expression in terms of Second Temple Judaism. Attributing a MORFH to QEOS is
the problem and the definition that you were asking about "essential nature"
would to some extent solve the problem in Phil 2:6ff but that definition
doesn't seem to have much support.
Anyway, I assumed your question had something to to with NT Greek. That was
my error.
