Mark:

If I may offer this, the perfect ANABEBHKEN is the
PRESENT perfect; it draws one's attention to the
current state of affairs attained. The participle,
being aorist, would "naturally" be presumed to preceed
a Present STATE (regardless of its alignment before or
after the finite). Unless other glaring factors
disallow this, one should understand the KATABAS
occuring previous to the state attained with
ANABEBHKEN. Here I take it that the distinctive
feature of this son of man is not that of ascending,
but as having the pre-qualification of first having
descended. Many OT figures were believed to have
ascended to the afterlife (as in Elijah).
