That SWMA is singular does not mean that it refers to one common body,
shared by all. It is quite normal to have a singular followed by a plural
pronoun to indicate distributively each person's body. Compare:
Acts 18:6 TO hAIMA hUMWN EPI THN KEFALHN hUMWN
Rom 3:13 TAFOS ANEWiGMENOS hO LARUGX AUTWN
Rom 6:19 DIA THN ASQENEIAN THS SARKOS hUMWN
Rom 8:16 AUTO TO PNEUMA SUMMARTUREI TWi PNEUMATI hHMWN
Rom 8:23 THN APOLUTRWASIN TOU SWMATOS hHMWN
