Aspect of the Greek Verb

I consider myself reminded rather than wiser, every time we get into this
discussion on this list, that regarding phraseology and perspectives on
verbal aspect in Greek, the old Latin tag is readily applicable, QUOT
HOMINES, TOT SENTENTIAE, or, as the French would have it, "Chacun à son
goût!" That's not really QUITE the case, of course, there are only half a
dozen or so different Anschauungen.
