Carl,

While in general I would agree with your comments, I find this in totality a 
difficult to accept.

My first problem would be Galatians 5:17, which says, "They are in conflict 
with each other, so that you do not do what you want."  one cannot really 
argue that spirit and flesh are equal in a fight.

James 5:16 would be another one that includes a form of differentiation 
simply because only a sinner can confess a sin, such that those who have not 
sinned (presumably against someone) are unable t confess for they have not 
done anything.

I Peter 5:5 would be another foil.

Matthew 24:10 also seems dubious.

I could probably go on and deal with all 100 occurrences in the GNT, but 
I'll limit myself to these from among the first 14 I looked at.

I very well could be wrong, but I do not think these texts show a total 
mutality, especially I Peter 5:5 which, contextually, seems to completely go 
against that idea.
