You should get a copy of Grammar of Septuagint Greek by F. C. Conybeare
and St. George Stock. Besides the helpful grammar, it contains generous
portions from the following prose narratives:
The Story of Joseph
The Story of the Exodus
The Story of Balaam and Balak
The Story of Samson
The Story of David and Goliath
The Story of Elijah
The Story of Hezekiah and Sennacherib
All of these are accompanied by commentary notes. In the latest editions
the indices have been greatly expanded. I'd say the Greek of these
stories is among the easiest in the LXX.
