Seems to me we went through this about PAS once before; Harry, it's a
neuter singular substantive. I don't think you can make it "every sort of
..." without its being adjectival and used with a noun.At any rate, take a
look at BDAG:
---------------
PAS: 2. any entity out of a totality, any and every, every b. as subst.
without the art., [BETA] PAN, w. prep.: DIA PANTOS s. dia¿ A 2a. EN PANTI
in every respect or way, in everything (Pla., Symp. 194a; X., Hell. 5, 4,
29; SIG 1169, 27; Sir 18:27; 4 Macc 8:3; GrBar 9:8) PLOUTIZESQAI 1 Cor 1:5;
2 Cor 9:11. Cp. 2 Cor 4:8; 7:5, 11, 16; 8:7; 9:8b; 11:6a, 9; Eph 5:24; Phil
