The Digital Nestle-Aland

I heard this morning that this new edition of NA will be using the new Logos
system and is due to be released at SBL in November. It will be part of a
package known as the Stuttgart texts and is to also include a complete
syntactical/grammatical search system--supposedly capable to doing
"everything that BibleWorks and Accordance can do"--including the graphical
user interface style and diagramming module of Accordance. They've been
working on it for several years unannounced.

The only bad news I've heard in this regard affects those of you in
institutional settings with a site lisc. for the older Logos system--no more
site lisc.! Only similar option is a "network lisc." @ $300.00 per CPU.
That's a very substantial increase in cost--one that our institution, at
least, is balking at paying.
