Ignatius to the Trallians

Some friends and I are reading the epistles of Ignatius. Below is a passage
from his epistle to the Trallians (chapter 13, verse 2 from the Loeb Library
edition.) What we can't figure out is the function of the hOI in the final
sentence. It appears to be a definite article, nominative, masculine plural
- but what is it's function?

ERRWSQE EN IHSOU XRISTOU hUPOTASSOMENOI TW EPISKOPW hWS TH ENTOLH
hOMOIWS KAI TW PRESBUTERIW

KAI hOI KAT' ANDRA ALLHLOUS AGAPATE EN AMERISTW KARDIA.

Any thoughts or guidance would be appreciated. Thank you.
