Dear hill1823 at yahoo.com
I know this is old fashioned, but I just began reading Mounce's "The
Basics of Biblical Greek Grammar" text myself and are you doing what he said?
You should make flash cards! I got the first paradigm memorized, pretty
much, and I'm sure I could recall the second one in his book with some
thought. Then again, that's probably because I'm visually inclined. Work
with the senses you learned best with. Repeat, repeat, repeat! Flash Cards
are good with this. If you're an audio learner, you might need to make up a
song or put it on a tape or burn a CD with your voice on it saying or singing
them. Or you might need to write them down or write about them or something.
Anyway, I'm at this alone, for the most part. I hope I can find a study
buddy.
Sincerely,
Derek Rumpler

I am learning Koine using the Mounce text, and have found it a good book. My
only deficiency is that I am going at this entirely alone. I know all the
paradigms cold, but a big challenge seems to be to learn the principal parts
of
verbs. I could stare at the book and memorize, but does anyone have a
recommendation/book for how to do this?
