I think that that would be too limited. 
Notice basic colors/colours:
     If acc to NT, you would have things like 
QEIWDHS  'yellow' (sulphurous)
UAKINQINOS 'blue (light, flowery blue)'

This would skew what any little Greek kid in the first century would 
have related to.      More basic:
XANQOS  'yellow'
CYANOS 'blue, dark'

See short example on ERCESQAI, which by accident is within NT 
bounds.
