KATA is a word that truly must be "unpacked."

Whenever I see KATA, I think of some "external standard/example."

Jesus Christ has established the pattern/example whereby love is
to be emulated. How did Jesus love? Well, that is the pattern
or example/standard we are to follow/emulate.

How are these Ephesians to love Onesimus? Simply follow the
pattern/example Jesus demonstrated in His life. Love as He
loved others.

I really think that KATA IHSOUN XRISTON must go with hUMAS AGAPAN.
I can not even make sense out of it modifying hON EUXOMAI.

My thoughts,

Mark Wilson
