I'm not English, but at the age of 82 I'll be hanged if I'll start 
calculating 
the length of fencing to go around a circular bed by the strange 
formula, 
pee too are!  Not to speak of all the puns one runs into everywhere 
with
pi and pie, which would be completely spoiled if anyone were to pay 
any attention to such an unnecessary change.
