Question regarding the rough breathing mark in John 20:16 PABBOUN I

Perhaps this is how the Westcott/Hort, UBS committees decided to
indicate that the word here is to be understood as the Aramaic word
for Rabbi, not the Greek word for Rabbi.

That's a wild guess.
