Would

(a) EN TINI AUTHN PARABOLHi QWMEN;
be different in emphasis from
(b) EN TINI PARABOLHi AUTHN QWMEN; ?

Would (a) give more emphasis on AUTHN, being placed earlier in the
sentence
than that of (b)? If so, the Greek speakers would have been so
"impatient".

Perhaps this is a question some of those who are into discourse analysis
could tackle. It would seem to me that any time a word is displaced from its
normal position it would tend to call attention to itself. Nevertheless, it
could be that this is such a common phenomenon that it would not tend to call
attention to itself.
