According to last night's "As It Happens", the James Ossuary has been
shipped to the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto, and they are trying to get
it on display in time for the SBL meeting. However, it was damaged in
transit, and they are not positive that it can be restored in time.

The SBL site also mentions the Royal Ontario Museum exhibit on the
following page:

http://www.sbl-site.org/Newsletter/11_2002/index.html

And there's a feature article with the headliner:

	Finally biblical Aramaic is sexy and in the headlines
	this month, with the by now famous inscription:
	"James, Son of Joseph, Brother of Jesus."

Here's the URL for the article:
http://www.sbl-site.org/Newsletter/11_2002/ossuary.html

The Royal Ontario Museum also has a web page on the Ossuary, including an
update on the cracks that developed in transit: http://www.rom.on.ca/

So what do we have to do to get biblical Greek to be sexy and in the
headlines? I don't have time to learn Aramaic, but I still want to impress
my wife ;->
