Interesting....little words are so important. Can hWS PAIDION mean simply
"like a child", rather than "as a child (receives the kingdom)"? If so, it
could simply mean "simply", "naively", "humbly", "without all your fancy
systems and airs".

To me, hWS seems to act in a similar way in passages like these:

Mark 6:34 hOTI HSAN hWS PROBATA MH EXONTA POIMENA
Matt 28:3 HN DE hH EIDEA AUTOU hWS ASTRAPH KAI TO ENDUMA AUTOU LEKON hWS XIWN
Mark 12:25 ALL EISIN hWS ANGELOI EN TOIS OURANOIS
Luke 21:34 KAI EPISTHi EF hHMAS AIFNIDIOS hH hHMERA EKEINH hWS PAGIS

Cheers,

Jonathan
