As Carl has pointed out, I can see little difference in what you are saying.
hWS seems to work here very much like the "as" in similes in English. Now we
can question what the condition of childlikeness implies, but it clearly
points to an attitude and/or circumstance in which a child receives the
"rulership" of the father. I used to say "humility" until I raised four
children. One trait that seems not to apply in children is "humility."
Perhaps, receive with a sense of dependence, trust, etc.
