Hi Mark,

PATER, EIS CEIRAS SOU PARATIQEMAI TO PNEUMA MOU

Two points:

1) This is not the verse under discussion (in the verse under discussion,
no mention is made by either the thief or Christ of where any 'spirit'
goes).

2) This verse does not make any mention of where any 'spirit' goes. It
does, however, use the Greek word PNEUMA, which is not the English word
'spirit'. [1]
To claim that PNEUMA here refers to some theological definition of the
English word 'spirit' is to beg the question.

Jonathan Burke.

[1] I learned this little piece of pedantry from B-Trans. The hard way.
But it's right you know.
