At least two message seem to have come in this afternoon to the list
despite the fact that this e-address is subject to perpetual monitoring.
They are getting in from <bounce-b-greek-329 at franklin.oit.unc.edu> from
out013.verizon.net ([206.46.170.44]) and ultimately from Wbxvnugdl
([162.130.1.254]). I've deleted them as soon as I've seen them, but I know
some of them are going out to some list-members. Again I advise: even if
they do show the [b-greek] header, if they have a fishy-looking subject
header be careful NOT to open any attachment and to delete both message and
attachment immediately from your hard drive. I don't know what we can do to
eliminate this peril. I believe that Jonathan has already contacted
verizon.net about the offensive source, but it's still operating.

I wish I had more encouraging news about this, but I don't. Just be
careful, folks.
