Pronunciation of "Sinaiticus" etc.

Webster's 10th, in its Geographical Names section in the back, says
"Sinaitic" is pronounced sie-nee-IT-ic, so by extension I suppose Sinaiticus
would be sie-nee-IT-i-cus.
Personally I prefer to ignore the original glottal stop and treat "ai" as a
digraph, pronouncing sie-NEH-tic and sie-NEH-ti-cus.
In general, I'd say check a standard English dictionary first, though some
proper names and technical terms won't be there.
