which book?

Hello,

I can't speak for the abridgement, but I will tell you that Wallace's "Greek
Grammar Beyond...." is a great reference tool that really explains the
grammar very well and very exhaustively. It depends on how you like to learn
as to which one to buy. My Instructor has been condensing Wallace's book for
us through notes. I find that in the middle of a translation I will use his
notes, but that is only to remind me of the greater information that Wallace
has already exposed me to in his book.

Hope this helps in some way.

Peace

Subject: [b-greek] which book?

Hello all--

I'd appreciate brief comparative evaluation of two Daniel Wallace books:

Greek Grammar Beyond the Basics and

Basics of NT Syntax (abridged from "Beyond..." )

I presume there's no reason to get both.

Thanks in advance,

Steve Raine
