No, I don't think so. Both phone books may have the same list of names, but the information given is quite different. One might have more names, but if they are of folks for whom death certificates have already been issued, the information provided is of less value. And if one gives not only the phone number, but also the address, fax number, email address, wife's name, kids names, birthdays, ... etc., then we can make some objective evaluations of the accuracy and value of the book.
To leave the realm of the analogy, LSJ, as valuable as it is and as useful for some purposes, doesn't hold a candle to BDAG so far as quantity of information regarding the meaning and use of NT koine vocabulary.
