Matthew the form of PLANAW is not participial it is a future active
indicative, third person plural. The sigma after the verb lexal or root tips
you off to the fact that it is future. Contract verbs such as this one
typically lengthen the alpha to an eta before a consonant.

Subject: [b-greek] participle case
Mark 13:6 contains the participle PLANHSOUSIN, and is
translated as "will lead
astray" This, as far as I can tell, is a present active
participle (masc/dat
pl) of the verb PLANAO (I lead astray).
Why is the word in the dative case?
