LSJ (Perseus, on the 'Net) defines PAROUSIA as:

1. presence
2. arrival
3. occasion
4. p. tisi poieisthai entertain them on their official _visits_,
OGI139.9 (Philae, ii B.C.).
5. in NT, the Advent, Ev.Matt.24.27, al.
6. Astrol., situation of a planet at a point

Zerwick (Zerwick-Grosvenor, otherwise known as "Max and Mary") regards
it as a technical term (t.t.) for Christ's advent (I Thess. 2:19).

These are all the tools I have here.

Thus, LSJ and Zerwick indicate in the NT it means (with reference to
Christ) His Coming.

Context is probably the best indicator as to what PAROUSIA means in a
particular verse, and in some verses it may mean simply "presence."

My two cents.
