What the description does NOT mention is that the appendix (at least in
the book - I haven't downloaded the on-line version) features:
Appendix I: Acts X
Appendix II: selections from The Didache, I (?) Clement (to the
Corinthians), Hermas, Gospel acc. to Peter, "The Christians In The
World" (author unk.), Martyrdom of Ignatius, Martyrdom of Carpus,
Martyrdom of Polycarp, Justin Martyr's apology, Lucian's view of
Christians, and the Last Words of Socrates.
No translations given, but unknown words are explained in footnotes and
references to the appropriate sections of the grammar are given for
syntax issues. I need to read these non-NT extracts!!
"Learn New Testament Greek with Nunn's discussion of Biblical Greek
syntax. The book begins with a helpful overview of English grammar and a
useful glossary of grammatical terms that prepares the student for the
discussions in syntax to follow. The appendix features several lengthy
and well-known passages from the New Testament in Greek."
