I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to the thought of the word
"LOGIKON" in the phrase "TO LOGIKON ADOLON GALA" in 1 Peter 2:2.
The word seems to be translated as "of the word"
in most versions. However, it is an adjective and the definition in
Liddell-Scott
gives no indication the word in classical greek was used in this manner.
One definition in Liddell-Scott was "possessed of reason, intellectual"
which might be
befitting adjectives when describing the "Word of God".
Any help with translatiing this word in this context would be appreciated
