It is a shame that we can't take this seriously, maybe at ETS or SBL or
even look at the ETS concept of regional meetings scheduled to discuss
specific pre-planned issues around an invited guest speaker with expertise
in a given area. If there is anyone interested in the NE US, I live near
Atlantic city, NJ and would be happy to host a few day meeting at out
church. I'm sure I could get at least a couple dozen homes who would house
a guest no-charge. One idea might be to ask someone like Rod Decker from
BBC to give a workshop on verbal aspect surrounded by discussion times. An
8 hour drive would take in from Boston to NC and west out to Pittsburgh,
Buffalo, etc. Think about it.
