If one seeks a minimally corrected text of a superb fourth century AD
manuscript, namely Ms Vaticanus (B), one can do no better than consult
Swete's edition.

If one seeks an edition of Ms Vaticanus plus variant readings from
some 35 other mss, one should consult Brooke & McLean.

While Swete and Brooke & McLean are diplomatic editions, i.e. editions
based on a single ms, Rahlfs is (essentially) a critical edition, i.e.
an edition based (eclectically) on several mss, namely, the so-called
great uncials A (fifth cent.), B (fourth cent.) and S (or Alef) (fourth
cent.)

The Goettingen edition is a fully critical edition based (eclectically)
on all extant mss prior to the age of printing. Indeed they are
available in the US. Eisenbrauns will be happy to order them for you.
Unfortunately, the volumes are rather expensive and as a result are
typically borrowed from university libraries. The Goettingen edition is
the closest available approximation to the pristine Septuagint.
