Be sure to specify BDAD (Baur, Danker, Arndt & Gingrich -- A Greek-English
Lexicon of the New Testament and Other Early Christian Literature, ISBN
0226039331). $125.00. This is probably best if your interest is mostly NT and
patristics. Here's a link

or

Liddell, Scott, Jones A Greek-English Lexicon. This is excellent for more
general Greek literature. ISBN 0198642261 $145.00 Here's a link

There are others such as Louw & Nida, but I'm not too thrilled by them.

You can also get a lexicon for the LXX, but I think you'll probably want to
wait till later on that.

You could also consider getting these in electronic format. Logos has both
Liddell-Scott-Jones and BDAG in electronic format. The other companies such as
BibleWorks or Accordance for the MAC have BDAG but I don't know about
Liddell-Scott-Jones.
