Learning Language by Musical Melody
I very much would like to learn Greek and believe
combining music with my language study would be very helpful. This musical
method would be true for learning any new language. The melody of a song in itself
speaks the words of a song and thus if one is greatly familiar with a song he
very much can know the words through the melody alone. Now if I could listen
to songs that I naturally know the words by the melody, and which instead of
giving the English words would give the Greek words which corresponds with the
melody, I believe such would be very helpful in teaching me the words of that
language.

I'm not sure this is what you're looking for since they are not likely to be
familiar lyrics. In fact, since my sound card needs to be replaced, I'm not
even sure they're in Greek, but you can give it a try (apparently they're not
just prayers but hymns as well).
