How is one to understand PISTIKHS in John 12:3? Does it come from PISTIS
"faithful,
trustworthy'" and thus interpreted to mean 'genuine, unadulterated' or is it
derived from a name of some kind for eg. the Greek form of the Latin
spicatum or from PISTAKIA or the East Indian picçita 'the name of the plant
Nardostachys Jatsamansi' ?
Any answers?
Johns
