And what might "strong connective" possibly mean? Of the three TEs in John
the first one is coupled with KAI in a "both-and" construction (2:15) so if
it not interesting.
The second and third TE (4:48 and 6:18) are both discourse connectors which
function to make a close link to the event(s) in the previous sentence.
Events linked with TE are often intertwined and usually simultaneous or at
least very closely connected in time. Luke uses TE a lot, especially in
Acts, Mark never uses it, and Matthew and John rarely, probably because
there is nothing like it in Hebrew.
