If money is no problem for you to spend and if you have the intellect for
it, then go for it all
by purchasing the 10 volume Kittel TDNT. This is a standard
scholarship tool used in seminaries.

If you want to save money and if you would like things in a more simple
format,
go with NIDNTT.

If you want the cheapest thing available and if you like things very
simplified,
go with the 1 volume TDNT.

You get what you pay for.

Subject: [B-Greek] TDNT, TDNT abridged, or NIDNTT?

Hello B-Greekers,

As a young theology student, I was wondering which of these reference
works would be most useful. I don't exactly understand the differences
between them. Can you abridge 10 volumes of TDNT into one and still
keep it useful? I have BDAG and LN...are either of these items useful
for background info in addition to these works?

Thanks in advance for any responses...
