Hi Luke,

What I did one summer was take half an hour each morning to translate a few
biblical verses from Hebrew into Greek, and compare my results with the
Septuagint. I started with the book of Ruth. Of course, my translation
always differed from the LXX, except in the genealogies. But every
difference gave me the chance to ponder why the ancient translators would
have rendered the Hebrew that way, rather than my way.
