Sidney, please don't paste in text from a GNT program or internet text: it
won't show up cleanly on the screen of readers unless they just happen to
have that particular Greek font installed in their system. Use the standard
transliteration scheme explained in the FAQ:

In terms of that the text you cite below would be:

The article (hO) makes the participle substantival and appositional to
MONOGENHS QEOS. It's worth noting that there are considerable textual
problems at this point in John 1:18, but they don't affect the participial
phrase.
