[B-Greek] Help finding an Interlinear

What you want doesn't exist. The only interlinear I'm aware of that is
based on NA-27 is the Tyndale(?) one that DOES come in a small size
(hardback) as well as a larger size (also hb), and it uses the NRSV in
the margins. It's not pocket-sized, but it's the smallest you can buy.
Jay Green's ppb interlinear is out of print; you might find it in used
sources. Only Green's has Strong's numbers, as far as I know.

FWIW, if he takes a year's worth of Greek, he won't need Strong's
numbers and he won't need an Interlinear anymore. The UBS-4th edition
with Greek-English dictionary in the back will suffice in a lot of ways,
and if he also has Zerwick-Grosvenor's Grammatical Analyis handbook
along with UBS-4, he will have a lot to aid him with in his reading. If
he has the time to pursue learning 1 year of Greek, Mounce offers audio
tutorials to accompany his first year grammar, as well as a workbook
(and an answer key is available on-line http://www.teknia.com). The only
major downside to Mounce is that you only learn 320 words or so (those
that occur 50x or more) -- you really need to learn about 625 words or
so (those that occur 25x or more) to make your reading of the Greek NT a
not-too-frustrating experience. But he can acquire the additional
vocabulary after he masters the basic grammar.
