Admittedly it doesn't make any sense, but the only candidate for implicit
agreement is PAN TO EXWQEN EISPOREUOMENON EIS TON ANQRWPON back in verse
18. Granted that KAQARIZWN in agreement with Jesus as the implicit subject
of LEGEI AUTOIS in verse 18 is difficult also, but it's not as difficult as
making sense of the neuter participle with PAN TO EXWQEN EISPOREUOMENON EIS
TON ANQRWPON, as it's hard to see how even as a circumstantial participle
construed adverbially with EIS TON AFEDRWNA EKPOREUETAI, it can "cleanse"
all foods, even if it "cleanses" the digestive tract by leaving it. This
has been discussed before; I recollect there was a lengthy discussion of it
on Crosstalk several years ago; I may have a copy of that thread somewhere
in my records, but I'm not sure offhand if I can put my finger on it.
