It is not only a text critical issue. It is also a translation issue
because you need to decide the syntactical relationship of theos - either in
apposition to monogenes or with monogenes as a descriptor of theos.
However, this has been covered by the list in the past, is also covered in
the commentaries, very well, and in Fenema's article on Monogenes in the
Prologue.
